Dell EMC

Overview

Dell EMC is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Massachusetts, United States. They sell data storage, information security, virtualisation, analytics, cloud computing and other products and services that enable organisations to store, manage, protect, and analyse data.

Challenges

The requirement was to share with the different groups the impact of language.  We work in a very diverse environment with English not being everyone first language.  As a result it is important to appreciate how language can be interpreted.  The other requirement was to explain the impact of executive presence - what it is & how your presence influences others in different forums.

Our Solutions

We developed Gender Diversity programs focusing on (i) The Power of Language & (ii) Executive Presence.  These programs addressed some of the following areas:-

The Power of Language:

  • Explore differences in communication styles
  • How to become a more powerful speaker
  • Seven Principles of effective conversation

Executive Presence

  • Unravel the mystery of what is Executive Presence?
  • Get Feedback on your executive presence
  • Introduce & explain 'The Likeable Factor'

Outcomes

The Power of Language:

  • This program enables you to communicate more confidently and persuasively in every situation imaginable. It will make you look at how you interact with others and discover simple changes you can make to add impact to your communication style.

Executive Presence

  • This program helps participants discover the key to having an executive presence and a practical guide to enhance their own. It forces participants to look at the impression they make in the business setting and provides hints on subtle changes that can be made in order to achieve a greater presence.
